How to read your report

Our tip: Print your report or save it as a PDF. It’s fairly extensive, and as a PDF or printout it’s much easier to read!

This report shows how you perceive people, tasks, and structures. It doesn’t judge – it shows your view of the world and of yourself. Please read the following section carefully. It contains important information that will help you understand the report. Remember: the result is a snapshot – not a diagnosis, not a label.

1. The two areas You as a person and You at work

The report looks at two areas: In You as a person, it’s about you as a “complete work of art” with everything that belongs to you – private as well as professional aspects.

You may have already wondered why, in the rankings in the section The person inner world, there were also statements about the working world. Now you know why: because your professional life is, of course, part of the overall view of you.

The second area, You at work, focuses exclusively on you in your professional environment (work, training, university). Our tip: After you’ve read your report from start to finish, you should take a look at how your values change when you compare the dimensions in You as a person with those in You at work. Do you see differences? No wonder – we often use our abilities differently at work! Look closely at the differences. For example, you might discover pronounced abilities in You as a person that take a back seat in You at work. Or vice versa.

2. The three dimensions

Each of the areas You as a person and You at work is structured into three dimensions.

  • Intrinsic: How you assess people – others and yourself. You could also say: here we’re looking at the heart.
  • Extrinsic: How you act, solve problems, and perceive roles. In other words, to stay with the metaphor: the hand.
  • Systemic: How you assess connections, structures, and the future. In our metaphor, systemic means: the head.

3. Outer & inner world

Each dimension also looks at two perspectives:

  • Outer world: How you perceive people (intrinsic), tasks (extrinsic), or structures (systemic).
  • Inner world: How you see yourself (intrinsic), your role (extrinsic), and your goals (systemic).

In summary: Each of the two areas You as a person and You at work contains three dimensions. We look at them from an outward and an inward perspective.

4. How to read the gauges

We illustrate your abilities and your attention to these abilities with a speedometer-style gauge. It measures two values:

  • Fill level: corresponds to your ability, your competence in this dimension on a scale from 0 (weakly developed) through 80–120 (average development) up to 200 (exceptionally strongly developed).
  • Needle (Premium Report only): indicates how much this area is currently in the foreground. Here, too, the scale ranges from 0 (hardly in focus) through 80–120 (balanced) up to 200 (extremely prominent).

Below the gauges you’ll find specific information on how to interpret each gauge. The report also interprets your values, and only the Premium Report takes your current situation into account as well. Important: Treat these interpretations as hints, as suggestions. They are not fixed labels.

A concrete example

Here we see a person with a high fill level in perception of people. That means: by disposition, this person is very good at reading others and understanding their motives. They can detach from their own ego very well and empathize with other people.

But: that does not automatically mean they actually use this ability! Look at the needle – it suggests that this person is currently (don’t forget: the needle always refers to the current situation) reserved about opening up to others. At the moment, this person approaches interpersonal problems more cautiously.

The fill level for self-perception is also above average. Here is a person who is able to recognize their own worth. However: at the moment, this person pays little attention to their own needs – see the needle. That doesn’t have to be bad per se, but it can indicate (impending) overload. Equally possible, though, is that this person is currently simply giving a lot and feels very comfortable in a more service-oriented role!

5. Compare the dimensions

As mentioned above, differences between the areas can be very interesting: for example, compare your values for Perception of people in You as a person with the values for Perception of people in You at work. Do the same for the other dimensions. As you do so, remember what Outer world and Inner world stand for:

  • Outer world: “This is how I evaluate/act with others & demands.”
  • Inner world: “This is how I evaluate/steer myself.”
What about the differences in Self-perception or Self-strategy? These differences can be real eye-openers.

Please note: This report is not a medical or psychological diagnosis and not therapy. It is used exclusively for personal reflection.

Area
You as a person

This section shows you as a whole person — it’s about you as an individual. Your fundamental way of seeing people, dealing with tasks, and putting your life into perspective. Everything that makes you who you are flows in here: private and professional values, beliefs, strengths, and inner standards.

The results in this area answer questions like: How do you generally approach other people? How do you deal with challenges — regardless of context? How clearly do you perceive yourself? How stable and consistent is your inner compass?

This section is, so to speak, your foundation. It shows how you evaluate the world and how you locate yourself within it — without restricting it to a particular area of life.

Important: Even if aspects appear here that relate to your professional life, they are always connected to your overall personality. Because professional action is never detached from the person behind it.

Area
You at work

The following section is exclusively about your professional context: at work, in university, training, or in your professional role. We look at the same dimensions as in “You as a person,” but in your professional environment — private aspects deliberately fade into the background.

We focus on how you perceive, think, and act in a work context and look at questions like: How do you perceive people in the workplace? How do you experience your role, responsibility, and tasks? How do you deal professionally with structure, planning, and the future?

Many people notice differences here compared to “You as a person,” especially when it comes to attention/willingness (i.e., the needle position — Premium Report only). That’s completely normal — and often particularly insightful.
